HISTORY OF SHIMLA TOWN

Shimla Area in its current structure appeared from first September 1972 on the rearrangement of the locale of the state. After the redesign, the past Mahasu area lost its substance and its significant piece was converged with Shimla. Shimla area gets its name from Shimla town, the region central command and presently state capital of Himachal Pradesh The Shimla Locale contains 9 Sub-Divisions, 13 – Tehsils, 12 Sub Tehsils and 10 Blocks

Shimla is the Capital Town of Himachal Pradesh. It was previously the mid year capital during the English Rule. The town of Shimla is worked north of a few slopes and interfacing edges.
