Tata Tigor
Affordable and spacious sedan suitable for city rides and mountain journeys.
The Tigor sits in the same class and price as the Dzire — a 4-seat sedan for two medium bags — and we run both because availability on a given day sometimes comes down to which car is free, not a difference in what you get. If you've booked a Dzire and we offer you a Tigor instead, it's the same fare, the same inclusions, and the same limits on rough roads.
Slightly firmer suspension than the Dzire, which some passengers actually prefer on the long straight stretches between Shimla and Chandigarh — less float at highway speed, though the difference is marginal enough that we wouldn't pick one over the other for that reason alone.
Same caveat as the Dzire: fine for city runs, airport transfers and the main highway corridors. Not the car for a broken-road stretch into upper Spiti or Kinnaur — take the Exter or Innova Crysta for those.
